decree（動）命ずる、布告する、宣言する
　―決まりきったことを表明するときに言うことば。
（用例）I decree today that life is simply taking and not giving.(STILL ILL)

stare（動）じっと見つめる、じろじろ見る
　―善良な人びとがアレな人びとを見るときの視線。
（用例）And if the people stare, then the people stare, I really don't know and I really don't care.(HAND IN GLOVE)

fond（形）(--of)が大好きである
　―相当ひいている女の子に対して愛を告白するときのことば。
（用例）But now you make me feel so ashamed, because I've only got two hands. Well, I'm still fond of you.(WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

nod（名）会釈、うなずき、同意
　―自分のために盗みを働いた男を認める行為。
（用例）Bought on stolen wine, a nod was the first step. You knew very well what was coming next.(I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING)

stench（名）悪臭、におい、気配
　―消せない犯罪の痕跡。
（用例）But fresh lilaced moorland fields cannot hide the stolid stench of death.(SUFFER LITTLE CHILDREN)
